Honey
Yemeni Sidr Honey is one of the finest honeys in the world. It's distinctive taste, health-promoting nutrition values, and limited quantity gives it this reputation. This honey comes from Sidr trees, which grow uncultivated in the desert areas of Yemen.
Why is it that expensive?
Firstly, because it’s a monofloral honey, and this means the bees can collect the nectar only for one month, in October, the flowering time. Secondly, it is considered medicinal honey, and therefore highly priced.
